In 2013, the Community Foundation of Ottawa bid a warm farewell to Barbara McInnes, the Foundation’s President & CEO for over 20 years, and a founding volunteer who helped nurture it over a quarter century from its original seedling state to the giant oak it has become today.
A true community visionary who received the Order of Canada for her work on behalf of the entire community foundation movement in Canada and around the world, Barb’s legacy was honoured in February 2014. We’re pleased to share the following photographic record of that historic milestone in the history of the Community Foundation of Ottawa.
